| Well, this is it. My alarm went off this morning and (I'm not making this up) the first thing that popped into my mind was the Rolling Stones "This Could Be The Last Time"
That which I've been doing for over 2/3 of my 60 years of life is coming to a close today. It's been such a great ride.
Now, on to figuring out what the rest of the adventure is going to look like.
Thank you Jesus.

| Well sports fans ... tomorrow morning is the last Monday morning that I'll be getting up to head on in to Pa Shell.
I'm so short I can sit on a piece of toilet paper and dangle my feet.

| I met 2 friends for lunch today .. at Fred's on Greenbriar and Holcombe. While waiting outside for them to arrive a 30 something mom with 2 kids - little girl about 3 and little boy about 2 - approached. As the little girl walked past me she looked up and her mom and said "I know mom, don't talk to old strangers"
I let the horrified mom off the hook when I burst out laughing

| I've entered into the "Last Days" part of my journey ... today was my last Wednesday.
I've been contemplating the fact that the structure of my life has pretty much been built around the fact that I've had to get up and go to work 5 mornings a week for the past 40 years. One of my big tasks now is going to be building a new structure around my new reality.
I'm definitely up to it
